I'm pretty sure you know Adele, especially after those 2 amazingly great singles lately, "Rolling in the deep" and "Someone like you". So, now few words about her and her new album, called simply - "21".
Adele (Laurie Blue Adkins) is 22 years old (believe it or not) British singer and songwriter. And not just that. She has an impressively long list of instruments she plays. After her first single "Hometown glory" released in October 2007, her career is constantly going up. Her first album "19" went platinum 3 times in Britain, which is quite a success.
However, after noticing that a lot of people are posting "Someone like you" over and over again, I have a proposal. Don't stop there! Download the album and listen to it. Thematically it is wonderful. Pure confession of a broken-hearted person. If you are depressed, that there are two possible ways to end listening to it. You'll cheer up by finding out that you are not the only one, or if you "find yourself" in the songZzz too much ... you'll probably commit suicide. :P Her voice is amazing (unique, "grown" & powerful) and I won't comment anything about it. It's perfect the way it is!
Anyway, the album is more than good. It's definitely worth listening, especially if you are tired of all those non-artistic craps all around.
P.S. Pay attention to the original version of "Someone like you". It's quite different than the BRIT-Award's performance. I prefer the live version... and you? :D
