It's been all about Lady Gaga these days. After having a premiere of her latest video for Judas, having an amazing photo shoot for V magazine, she got the throne on Forbes "The world's most powerful celebrities"! It was expected even earlier, but Oprah was way to big for Gaga last year. This year... Gaga's internet promotion mix is big for anyone else. :)
Why Gaga? If you are hater, you probably ask that question. Well, Forbes ranking has more ranking lists, which are finally calculated before the final decision is made. This year, Gaga was "Monster" in few of them! For example, she was first in the "Web rank" and "Social rank" category, second in "Press rank" and third in "TV/Radio rank", which was more than enough to overcome the 8th place in earnings.
No matter what anyone says, she had the biggest fan group ever. She's the most active person on Facebook and Tweeter, she's everywhere - on the radio, in the news, on fashion show, on charities, everywhere! And she works as hell. Being on tour, recording the new album, recording a video, having photo shoots for the world's largest magazines, and much more, all in the same time... well, that's not an easy thing to do! So, congratulations! You deserved it! :D
Another thing I would mention here is her latest photo shoot for the Japanese version (or Asian issue) of V magazine. Not only she's having the mostly desired front pages in the world, she also has them in the best possible way. Concretely in this photo shoot the "mother monster" has 3 heads, a lot of Japanese fashion influence, a lot of make up, accessories and off course the "We pray for Japan"- bracelet she designer for charity! She also has few photos with, almost, no make up, which I find beautiful. No matter how much you like/love/hate her, you must admit that the photos are quite amazing.
From marketing point of view, she's just doing her thing. "Be present everywhere, not anywhere!" The album is coming out on 23th of May, and the "little monsters" are already crazy about it! The entire media is waiting for it, the radio stations make predictions which single will be next and magazines "fight" for having a photo shoot/interview with her! That's how you do it! In some article I read that in few years nobody would remember Gaga... I would say that in few years there would be no person on the planet not knowing her! :D
